Who Do You Want to See?

April 22, 2008

I don’t know about you, but I’d love to see some of WWE Raw’s stars on Smackdown. Particularly John Cena, Chris Jericho and Triple H. Watching Triple H take on a hulk like the Great Khali or even Big Show on a regular basis is something I could watch over and over again. The chances of that are probably slim, unfortunately. Oh well. A man can dream.

Of course, there’s always Boxing, too. Check out these awesome Ricky Hatton tickets and see the Hitman fight his nemesis, Floyd Mayweather Jr. or Manny Pacquiao!

Backlash Preview: MVP vs Hardy

April 22, 2008

Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) and Matt Hardy will be going at it in the most anticipated WWE Smackdown match at the next Backlash. Hardy is still sore after MVP put him out of action for five months with a knee injury, but now he’s back and looking for revenge. The pair combined for a Tag Team championship, but that camaraderie will count for nothing as they face off again mano y mano. Don’t miss it!

The Latest WWE Smackdown Controversy

April 22, 2008

Smackdown visited the UK recently, thrilling crowds at the O2 Arena. The biggest of the big wrestlers were heavily involved, with the 441-pound Big Show tangling with the 420-pound Great Khali. There was no love lost, and the two are sure to meet again at Backlash.

Matt Striker and Hornswaggle also cranked up the heat, taunting each other with tennis balls and water pistols. Striker came out the worse, with Hornswaggle claiming the victory.

Finally, the Divas gave the crowd some girl-on-girl action, with Cherry beating Victoria after several crushing kicks. It’s all nicely poised for next week!
